I work with both water-based oils and acrylics using brushes and palette knives in order to create texture and an impressionistic interpretation of a variety of subjects.

Having not taken up painting until I retired I am still trying to catch up.  I enjoy any chance to see professional and skilled amateur artists at work, so Troon Art Club’s programme of demonstrations by visiting artists has provided me with plenty of inspiration and practical tips.
