A graduate of Glasgow School of Art in the 60’s, Bill Taylor has worked as illustrator, designer and educator over many years. Now retired and living in Troon, Ayrshire, he concentrates mainly in painting. His work appears in many private collections both at home and abroad. Perhaps due to childhood hours spent among the many small boat owners who once occupied what is now the Troon marina, he finds great inspiration in the shapes, textures and colours of small fishing boats.
