KIRSTY GOLDIE

Art, and painting in particular have been great loves of mine since I was a child but after completing my degree at the Winchester School of Art I stopped for a number of years while work and family took priority. Then in 2017, my husband, myself and our children moved from Salisbury to his family farm on the west coast of Scotland and I rediscovered my love for painting and haven’t looked back.

I find nature a huge inspiration, and the beautiful scenery and big skies on the west coast provide endless possibilities.

I take commissions and love the challenge of capturing the feel of a particular landscape or the character of someone’s pet. I’m looking forward to spending more time painting and drawing and making the most of being part of Troon Art Club.
