I’ve always been interested in art, in my school, college and University days painting, drawing and crafts were a constant theme but as work and family commitments took over it seemed the time for creativity ebbed away.  As my kids are now older and I have more time I want to explore the world of art again and Troon Art Club (TAC) is the perfect way for me to get involved, draw more, learn about technique and meet interesting people with similar interests.  Of course I look forward every year to our Summer Exhibition which gives me the opportunity to exhibit my humble daubes and scribbles.  I’m currently learning how to use water colours and trying desperately to control the water and pigment on my page.  There’s so much to learn and I look forward to exploring art more fully through the Club
